Metroid: Other M movement issue - Khanage4567 - 08-20-2020 Hi all, I'm new here so sorry if I end up breaking a rule or something. I've read the FAQ so I hope I don't end up breaking any rules. I have made it up to this point in the gameĀ https://youtu.be/sNYHaYuYX2k?t=5336 and when the camera goes close to Samus so she can enter the room and start the cutscene, I can't move Samus at all. The emulator still detects my controller, but nothing happens. I had some cheats enabled before this, but I have turned them off and updated and restarted the emulator but I still can't get past the problem. I've also tried using my keyboard to move but nothing happens as well. My specs are as follows: OS Name Microsoft Windows 10 Home Version 10.0.18362 Build 18362 Other OS Description Not Available OS Manufacturer Microsoft Corporation System Name KHAN-LAPTOP System Manufacturer Dell Inc. No, the camera is still in third-person, so you're still supposed to use the sideways Wii Remote control scheme (though you will only be able to walk slowly). It's only at points where the game switches to a first-person view that you use pointing (and never with the Nunchuk). RE: Metroid: Other M movement issue - mimimi - 08-21-2020 Oh, ok. It's so long ago that i played this. I only remembered that it does change the control scheme sometimes. It's one of those slow walking moments and it's actually happened to me before in the game but I could still move Samus, unlike now. RE: Metroid: Other M movement issue - Khanage4567 - 08-21-2020 I figured it out. I had to put on the Moon Jump and Walk through walls gecko codes and then I had to jump out of the map and land in the loading zone to trigger the cutscene. |
