Mayflash Gamecube Adaptor Ports Not Detected - Alibgon - 08-19-2020

Hi all Smile ,

Recently had a bit of trouble playing the gamecube version of majora's mask and was suggested to use the N64 version on another emulator, which required zadig to modify some of the adaptor drivers.

Anyway, that failed but i now have a different drivers installed to the original. I think I originally had HidUSB drivers and can't roll back to them, I also think they may have downloaded automatically when I first put the adaptor in.

TLDR, my adaptor no longer appears in the drop-down of devices when I'm trying to configure a controller and I'm a bit stuck. There doesn't seems to be a driver rollback option and I'm not sure how to get those original drivers back.

Any help would be much appreciated!

If you want to restore the driver to its original state, you can do so by uninstalling the driver in the Device Manager. But it may be the case that the driver currently is configured in the way it would need to be for you to use Dolphin's native support for GameCube controller adapters, which generally is the best mode to use such adapters in. In Dolphin's controller settings, try setting Port 1 to "GameCube Adapter for Wii U" instead of "Standard Controller" and see if the adapter is detected when you do that.

Thanks for the reply Smile

I'm now at a state where nothing is detected if I select standard controller and no driver is detected if I try to select "GameCube Adapter for Wii U". What I had thought I'd tried before to uninstall in device manager, but I only get options for updating the driver, disabling the device, and removing the device, not actually uninstalling the driver. I'm not sure how to just uninstall the driver, or if one of the options show actually does that(I've added a screenshot for clarity).

I can show a snip of the events history for that driver to show it's original state too if that helps?? Apologies for my driver illiteracy haha

Uninstalling the Device in the Device Manager will also prompt you to delete the driver software.

I'm not sure if this guide is still accurate to the latest Beta or Developer versions, I no longer see any "Direct Connect" option:

I'm also suffering from no adapter detected with my Mayflash controller, when trying to use the native input.

I believe my issue may be related to this bug, I am also running Windows 7 Home Premium on a Gigabyte AB350 Gaming motherboard, with Ryzen 5 2400 APU.
