Cars 2 low fps in menus - Pimenov - 08-04-2020
The game Cars 2 (disney-pixar) runs at 15-18fps in menus. My PC is ASUS GL552VX(SKL)-DM427T and my phone is Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. But the races run well (30fps).

Cars 2 is part of the Disney Trio of Destruction, which is a group of games notorious for causing all sorts of emulation problems. I've read some test results on the wiki page (https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Cars_2), and the game seems to demand a lot to run in Dolphin. My suggestions would be to fiddle with the graphics settings and change the backend, xfb/efb settings, shaders, or anything you think would help out. Not much else to do but to try and find some combination that runs better for you (Although I doubt it will fix your issues).

I don't believe anyone has succeeded at running Cars 2 at full speed.
