Analog threshold be set even higher than 99.99% or trigger calibration? - elvisish - 07-31-2020 To simulate the original SMS analog R trigger as closely as possible for running and spraying, I have the threshold set to 99.99%, which on an xBox One controller gives me roughly 85-90% of the trigger to run and spray, but I'd like to get it closer so it's practically squeezed all the way in before he stands and sprays. Could the threshold be tuned or calibrated for controllers so 99.99% is actually pretty much an atom before it's pressed all the way in, rather than being quite a bit less than that? 99.99% is ridiculous, but it practice it's not actually that close at all on my controller. RE: Analog threshold be set even higher than 99.99% or trigger calibration? - mbc07 - 08-01-2020 AFAICT that's not possible, as the controller itself reports the trigger as 100% pressed a little before you've actually reached the "bottom" of the trigger. Different from modern controllers, the triggers on a GameCube controller had separate click buttons at the bottom of them, so the only way to activate those buttons was by holding the trigger all the way down... |
