Nunchuk starts drifting and disconnecting - Joe295159 - 07-25-2020 I'm using a real wii remote and, eventually, the Nunchuk stick starts drifting and then intermittently disconnecting until it fully disconnects. This can start happening after anything from 2 minutes to 10 minutes. Disconnecting the nunchuk and reconnecting it doesn't solve it. Neither does desyncing the remote and resyncing it. -Dolphin 5.0 x64(same result with 5.0-12247 x64) -Tested on Zelda Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword -Tried it with 2 official wii remotes and nunchuks (the black and red version, both are motion plus) -The remotes work perfectly on a real wii and wii u -Changing batteries has no effect -I tested it with a bluetooth dongle and a dolphinbar, same result -Tried it on different USB ports, same result -Restarting pc has no effect -pc is windows 10 x64, i7-6700,gtx1080,16gb -Enabling/disabling controller options doesn't change anything (like continuous scanning or speaker data) Any idea? What's weird is that for about ~3 hours of gameplay, I had no problem (finished the first forest dungeon in Twilight Princess). But then it started happening randomly and it always happen now. I'll open dolphin, play for a couple minutes and it will start drifting and disconnecting again intermittently until it doesn't want to work anymore. RE: Nunchuk starts drifting and disconnecting - Joe295159 - 07-26-2020 So I ended up trying it on another pc (a tablet with integrated BT) and got the same result which made me think that something must be wrong with the remotes somehow. So I bought an official toad wiimote from amazon and so far it seems to work well. This would suggest that both my original wii remotes were broken... broken enough to not work with dolphin but fine enough to work with the wii u. That's pretty weird. Anyways, I'll play some more with the toad remote and see if it ends up like my other 2. |
