Problems with Dolphin detecting my Wii Mote (Mayfair Dolpin Bar and Wii Remote Issue) - segasega89 - 07-25-2020 Hi there, I purchased a "Mayfair Dolphin Bar" and a Wii Remote with built in motion plus to use with the Dolphin Emulator off of Amazon recently. I've set up both devices and the Wii remote syncs with the Dolphin Bar correctly. I then go into "Controllers" and select "Real Wiimote" under "Wiimote 1". I then click on the Refresh button and my Wii mote vibrates. At the very bottom of the Dolphin Emulator window it read "Wiimote Connected". However I've tried to play Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Skyward Sword in Dolphin when the Wii mote has been connected properly and neither game detects the controller at all. But the fact that my Wiimote does actually respond with a vibration in the Controller Panel whenever I click "Refresh" suggests that the controller does indeed work with my PC. I've attached a screenshot with this post that shows my controller settings in Dolphin and also what I see when I play a game such as Super Mario Galaxy 2. Here's the link to the screenshot: https://ibb.co/vdKfs6b I'm wondering whether anyone could give me help with this issue? Kind regards, RE: Problems with Dolphin detecting my Wii Mote (Mayfair Dolpin Bar and Wii Remote Issue) - JosJuice - 07-25-2020 Try a beta or development version of Dolphin. Please also let us know whether your Wii Remote is official or not. (If you're unsure, take a photo of it and show us.) It is called an Atopoo Wii Controller shown here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07P9WN8T7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 But the controller does seem to work with the Dolphin Bar as it responds with a vibration when I hit the refresh button in the Controller panel. I'll try to download the development version of Dolphin. I've tried the "5.0-12247" Beta version and the Wii mote doesn't even respond when I click refresh nor does it say "Wii mote connected" at the bottom of the window like it does with Dolphin 5.0. I tried both the recent development and beta versions just now and they don't work either. The vibration doesn't even work when clicking the refresh buttons whereas in Dolphin 5.0 vibration does work when I click the refresh button. Oddly enough, if I start mashing the buttons of the Wii mote and press the "Home" button then the start menu on Windows 10 opens and I'm able to scroll up and down the start menu with the D-Pad. So the controller does seem to work with my PC but I'm not sure why it doesn't work with Dolphin at the moment... RE: Problems with Dolphin detecting my Wii Mote (Mayfair Dolpin Bar and Wii Remote Issue) - tarek_alassraj@hotmail.com - 09-17-2020 Any fix for this please? I have exactly same issue with dolphin bar and atopoo. To add more information , it is working in dolphin for android (nvidia shield) and working in Cemu emulator windows version . It is definitely dolphin emulator issue. |
