Dolphin freezing, cannot access menus. - Kneecaps - 07-14-2020
I am unable to open the controller settings menu. I can open the config and graphics menus, but changing any settings instantly causes a freeze. Sometimes games will not boot up properly. And once Dolphin freezes and I have to force it to close, it will occasionally refuse to start up again unless I restart my computer. Further more, closing a game almost never works. Pressing stop causes another freeze.
I have a theory that this is related to Dolphin being unable to access its own files. I have disabled file protection, but I don't know what else Dolphin needs to do its job.
Additionally, I'm running a dual boot linux mint/windows 10 set up on my SSD. Dolphin works wonderfully on the Linux half. Windows is the problem. But I need to use Dolphin on Windows for the better Joycon drivers (motion controls).
Can someone please help me out? I can't find anyone else who has had the same issue.
