DS4 motion control not working - domjam - 06-28-2020
I dunno how to do this and need help getting it to work. I tried following the wikiguide and it said to download one of the servers.. (I use DS4 windows) I already have UDP server selected in my DS4 windows. I click controller icon in dolphin then alternative input sources, enable check box. the server ip and port are the same as shown under DS4. its listed under devices as DSUclient/0/DualShock 4. I can see it working under motion input when moving the controller. But its not working under motion simulation. Without this I cant use it in game since I need to emulate the pointer using the controller. how do I get it to work?

You don't need to use Motion Simulation with a DS4 controller. You can turn on the Enable checkbox under Point on the Motion Input tab to get the pointer to work.

I don't understand. enabled is already checked under motion input. the accelerometer and gyroscope show the little dots moving in the circle when I move the controller, but it does not work in game. Tested on 3 games that use pointers and the pointer does not register at all when moving the controller. do I have to do something else in the controller setup in dolphin or in DS4 windows? Besides ticking "UDP server"In DS4 settings i have no idea how to get this to work. Still confused :S

it seems to be working now. not sure what I did different. but the pointer is way of.. it seems to darg to the right of the screen. Currently testing it on conduit 2 and I am sitting in the center and the controller is pointed directly at the screen in the center but the pointer always drags of to the right of the screen. how do i set this up correctly?
