Change Location Of Dolphin Emulator Folder From Documents - Sirius_Dark - 06-22-2020
So not sure if this is something that is even possible, but my situation is my internal hard drive is tiny because I have a Mac running Windows on Boot Camp using Dolphin. I need to relocate the Dolphin Emulator folder from the C: Drive to my external HDD for things like HD Texture packs because they can take up a lot of space but I don't see an option to relocate in the config options.
Does this feature exist and I am just going crazy and can't find it or does it not exist yet?

If you create a file named portable.txt in the same folder as Dolphin.exe, the folder will be moved there.

Alternatively, if you only want to change the texture pack / resource pack folder, that is available under "paths". You are looking for "Load Path" and "Resource pack path"

Great link. I tried exactly this, since I always move any important folders like "Documents" to another larger drive on my computers.
It says to make a registry key and make sure to "[color=#333333]Make sure that the "User" folder is explicitly specified, since Dolphin will assume whatever path it is directed to is the [/color][color=#333333]\User\[/color][color=#333333] folder."[/color]
