Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door invalid read - Tealboyxx - 06-08-2020 Hey everyone, Just got dolphin to play the Thousand Year Door, but once I get passed the scene where Luigi reads Peach's letter to Mario and the title screen with the boat, I get the error: "Invalid read from 0x00000000, PC = 0x805bc8f4". Any ideas on how I can fix it?
RE: Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door invalid read - Craftyawesome - 06-08-2020 Can you verify your iso? Right click, properties, verify. Make sure you haven't manually disabled bounding box. You could also try disabling dual core. RE: Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door invalid read - Tealboyxx - 06-08-2020 (06-08-2020, 12:52 PM)Craftyawesome Wrote: Can you verify your iso? And where can I find the bounding box option? I disabled dual core, but had the same problem. Also, it might be worth mentioning that the game does not appear on my Dolphin homepage. You need to use the dolphin properties menu, not windows. Set the games directory to include the game. Disable bounding box is in graphics, hacks. It should become unchecked and bold after you start the game, because dolphin should set the settings you need to play the game. Set the games directory to include the game. The bounding boxes box was still checked. I unchecked it to see if it would change, but unfortunately, it did not. I verified the ISO, and it says it was a bad dump. "This disc image has an unusual size. This will likely make the emulated loading times longer. When using NetPlay or sending input recordings to other people, you will likely experience desyncs if anyone is using a good dump." "This disc image is in the NKit format. It is not a good dump in its current form, but it might become a good dump if converted back. The CRC32 of this file might match the CRC32 of a good dump even though the files are not identical." If there's nothing I can do to fix it, where can I find a good one? RE: Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door invalid read - JosJuice - 06-09-2020 You don't find a dump, you dump it: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Ripping_Games Thread closed for piracy. |
