Wii source code (no, its different, just read!) - SynaxeR - 06-04-2020

I know its copyrighted, etc...

My point is devs will just read source code and understand it, then implement their own code (hmmm, so this is how it works. Okay, I can make my own way with this/better..)

You get the idea. I think its quite possible?? Angel

No, that's now how it works. Dolphin is legal only due its clean room coding design (in fact, practically all emulators are done that way). The moment you peek into any copyrighted code, you are "tainted" and can't do clean room coding anymore. In fact we actively refuse contributions (and even ban accounts) from anyone that reportedly used or looked at copyrighted content. We already did that even before the recent leaks and will continue to do so (even more now).

Also, this topic has already been brought up several times that I suggest you just use search instead. With that said, thread closed.
