Convert .bin to .sav? - icyulkn - 06-04-2020
I'm having a problem with a .bin save file in Skyward Sword. Every time I try to import a particular .bin save file it says "failed to import save files". Is it possible to convert it to a .sav file instead? I'm not having any issues with those.

I'm a bit late on this, but if you have access to a real Wii, then you can use Savegame Manager GX to instead extract a .bin which you can then just copy and paste the contents into the Dolphin save folder for a given game.
Theoretically you might be able to make an emulated SD card image for Dolphin with the .bin on it (located in the according location that you'd get if you copied a save from the Wii to the SD card through the Wii Menu's data settings) and then copy it over through the actual Wii Menu.
