i5 is "mid" range afaik (you can hardly call those mid range anyway...)

i5 has no ht, i7 does. i7 can be 1156 or 1366. 1366=triple channel ram.

On my i7 920, there seems to be some slow down on some Wii and Wiiware games. Every other game is blazing fast though due to what Dolphin refers to as "16 cores".
