Game Cube Controller Not working - brown bro - 05-18-2020
When I boot up Dolphin and try to plug in my Gamecube Adapter (It is the first party Smash Bros for Wii U Adapter); however, when I go to the controller's Menu an error sign comes up whenever the adapter is plugged in to my Mac. The Error message reads "Error Opening Adapter: Access denied (insufficient permissions)" If anyone knows how I can grant these permissions I would greatly appreciate it.
Edit:
So the problem has been fixed, until I open the game. The second the game opens up it stops working. I don't know what the new problem is. No more errors it just says that the adapter isn't detected.

Did you follow the guide: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=How_to_use_the_Official_GameCube_Controller_Adapter_for_Wii_U_in_Dolphin#macOS? If so, and it still doesn't wok, does this post: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-os-x-gcn-adapter-kext-testers-wanted?pid=502976#pid502976 help you get it running?
If neither of those work, there have been some complaints that it hasn't been working in 10.15+. Maybe someone that has 10.15+ and got the adapter to work can share their setup.
