The game crashes after a bit - wawa0177daniel - 05-15-2020 Hello everyone, I posted a previous Thread where I talked about an issue that occured with Dolphin on the Samsung Galaxy S10e Exynos Version; I don't know how, maybe "playing" a bit with the settings, but I managed to fix the problem explained on that thread. But now a new problem occours: the same game (Fifa Street 2) is smooth and playable, but after a bit, without a reason, it crashes. This kind of problem is usually given by too high temperatures, but my device doesn't get so hot; in my town now is almost Summer and the weather is very hot, but, despite that, the device is just a little bit hot, so I think the problem is not linked with the temperature. As I said in the previous topic, I know that maybe the Snapdragon Version, from emulation and optimization point of view, maybe, is better, but my device is a top device so there must be a way to fix these problems and to make this game playable and enjoyable. Thank you very much. If there are some language mistakes in the message, I'm sorry for that, but I'm not English. The thing is: You as a user do not get to decide what is too hot, it is decided by the manufacturer (e.g. Huawei, Xiaomi, Samsung, Google, Sony etc.) So for one device too hot might mean 70 degrees Celsius (you wouldn't want that, it will burn your hand) and other devices might be 40 degrees, which is slightly warm to the touch. there are some apps (I've heard) that turn that supervisor off. These apps are dangerous in most cases. In my opinion, this crash issue is not linked with the temperature, because this is the only game that crashes. Other games still run smoothly with the same temperature or even higher temperatures. So my theory is that this issue can be fixed simply from the settings, and I'm asking help here because I don't know this emulator's settings so well. RE: The game crashes after a bit - LG Fanatic - 05-20-2020 Try the OpenGL(or Vulkan) graphics backend and makes sure that the "Skip EFB Access from CPU" hack is off. |
