Why is this place so confusing? - Philljc - 12-20-2009 I'm trying to get one game working at the moment, Zelda: The wind waker. Anyway, the main site says it's not perfect, the compatibility 'perfect' chart in games says it is, and the topic floating around for the game says sound still doesn't work (when it clearly does) ![]() Is there a place that is constantly updated that is correct? This is very confusing for new people to Dolphin, and this is only for one game. Typically also if there's a breakthrough it's posted in the first page of a topic and not left to people to trawl through 50+ pages to find out whats going on. RE: Why is this place so confusing? - StripTheSoul - 12-20-2009 Unfortunately there's nothing like that...I guess no one has the time and willingness to make a clean list or something... There would be a rather simple way though: The Game Index Thread would have to be kept updated...I have to search for game threads so often cuz they aren't listed there. And then, whoever opens a game thread should feel obliged to keep the first post of it updated... RE: Why is this place so confusing? - Apostacious - 12-20-2009 its confusing because your forum ninja skills aren't developed enough young grass hopper. Emulating with dolphin isn't really that hard, for all i know Wind walker is in fact perfect, if it doesn't get the perfect stamp of approval in the relevant thread is because the experienced users don't consider it perfect because some minor graphical errors in game or needs a special fix at some point of the game to go further, you should direct your inquiries to that thread for that matter. And as StripTheSoul said, some times the original OP doesn't update the thread accordingly. |
