High FPS VS. Slow Gameplay - janvitos - 12-17-2009

Hi.

I'm having this weird problem where the emulator is showing 30-50 FPS but the actual gameplay feels like it's only giving 10-20.
This problem occurs in both games i own which are New Super Mario Bros Wii and Punch Out Wii (both NTSC).

For New Super Mario Bros Wii, it seems to be happening in stages where there are more enemies.
In Punch Out Wii, the same starts happening when i get to Major Circuit.

I've tried many different versions of the emu but to no avail.
I have also tested mostly all possible setting configurations possible, aswell as the suggested ones.
Right now i'm running 4700.

Has anyone ever encountered such a problem ?

My system specs. are as follows :

Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 @ 2.2 GHz
Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT (256 MB)
2 GB RAM
120GB @ 7200 RPM HD

Thanks.

i dont think you have enough ram, especially with that video card.

he has ample ram and the video card is fine.

Btw, it would be nice if someone with a similar setup (notebook with similar specs.) could share his own results with the emulator.
