vps limiter? - arktisk - 12-15-2009

ive been wrestling with this problem for hours now. in SSBB with audio throttle enabled, it ran at 40-50fps but had a noticable lag on the input when controlling characters. after much tweaking i tried turning the audio throttle off, and set the fps max to 60, and it ran 60 fps constantly, and the input lag was gone! subspace emmisary mode had never worked better.

then i tried playing the normal mode, and the vps is at 300, making the characters run in fast foward. new mario bros, smash bros melee, and muramasa do not have this issue, its only the classic mode in smash bros brawl that this occurs in. does anyone have any idea how to address this? i searched google for 2 hours and couldnt find anything. ive attatched a screenshot.

so there is no sort of work around? i dont really care about the fps, its just the input lag thats driving me nuts.

Only if you'll limit more fps I think :/

ive tried that as well. do you have a gamepad and that game? i tested out smash bros melee and it didnt have any lag no matter what settings i used. can anyone else test this and confirm?

when you put audio throttle back on, and play in subspace emmisary, does the input feel laggy compared to smash bros melee?
