It would appear Omegadox has left Dolphin and has created his own Wii/GC emulator called RESE.
He removed himself from the TODO list on Dolphin:

Then started RESE:

If he's making his own emulator... seems kinda crazy. Maybe just experimental, if you look at his TODO there's many features not in Dolphin

If he thinks he can do all those things then why not add them to dolphin?

Well, if he does accomplish those list items, they can be integrated into dolphin regardless, because RESE is licensed under the GPL.
