Could anyone please tell me how i can set my keyboard so i can play the new mario? Or even the Xbox360 pad?

You can configure it in Wiimote plugin config to play with the keys and the mouse.
But it seems that NSMB has some bugs in the controller.

Ah thanks - kinda got it working now.,. next problem i have to deal with is the drop of FPS to 24 when ingame? any ideas on this one?

Mmm.....I think this is normal, because in games like SSBM when in menu runs 40-50 FPS, in the game runs slow: 20-31 FPS. The speed depends on how many caracthers, objects.... are in the screen and the speed of your PC

need help, I have tried everything in the button menus and nothing works, I can't use my keyboard!!
