GameCube Adapter for Wii U Not Detected - Solid - 07-31-2019
I am using the Piranha GameCube Controller Adapter for the Wii U/Switch/PC (not the official one for the Wii U). I nevertheless followed the instructions on the Dolphin wiki page and I installed the driver via Zadig (only the device showed up as "GameCube Controller Adapter", not "WUP-028"; and the USB ID showed up as "0079 1846", not "057E 0337").
Unfortunately Dolphin just doesn't detect the adapter. Does Dolphin not support my adapter? Is there a way I can make it work?
PS: When I first connected the adapter to my PC, Windows recognized it as WUP-028, but quickly changed the name to "GameCube Controller Adapter" (if that's of any relevance).

Did you set the switch on the adapter to Wii U/Switch mode?
