Low performance using ubershaders - Catlin - 07-23-2019 Can anybody explain the differences because I dont seem to get decent performance at all even though everything I read said they are meant to be amazing. 12fps on Luigis mansion. Ryzen 3800x 32gb Ram 3200mhz installed on NVME drive(could this be the problem?) GTX 1060 RE: Low performance using ubershaders - JosJuice - 07-23-2019 Ubershaders don't increase the average performance by any significant amount. What they do is get rid of lag spikes. Your system should be powerful enough, so I wonder if there's something wrong with the settings... If you've turned up the enhancements, try turning them down again. Also, please keep in mind that "Synchronous (Ubershaders)" lowers the performance a lot. If you're going to use ubershaders, the option you want is almost always "Asynchronous (Ubershaders)". |
