Player 2 won't work on netplay - berry095 - 07-20-2019
So I was trying to playing New Super Mario Bros. Wii with my friend, but when we got to the multiplayer screen for the second player to come in none of the buttons would work on the second player (we both use emulated wii remotes). We tried switching and first player would always be fine but player 2 would be unable to play. we tried switching hosts, different controllers etc. nothing worked so I've come here to see if you have any suggestions

Did you both configure 2 controllers?

do you mean have both individually have 2 controllers configured or both have a wiimote configured. I'm new to dolphin and netplay so I'm not sure

Both individually have two controllers configured. This is required for Wii Remotes when using netplay, but not required for GameCube controllers.
