Joystick sensitivity - JeffyB - 07-14-2019 Hi. I'm currently using a USB Xbox 360 controller with Dolphin. The joystick is too sensitive which makes precise aiming very difficult--it either doesn't move or it moves too fast. I recall I also had this problem on the Project 64 emulator, and I even notice it in the "Test" tab of the controller's properties in Control Panel. Is pressing the button assigned to the modifier the only workaround? I figure this is a common problem, but I don't know if there is any better solution for it... RE: Joystick sensitivity - Billiard26 - 07-15-2019 Calibrate both of your sticks using the "Calibrate" buttons. Your lack of calibration will produce oversensitivity with typical controllers. Ok, I did that, but it really doesn't seem to resolve the issue. Aiming is just as difficult. RE: Joystick sensitivity - Billiard26 - 07-16-2019 Which game? Can you adjust the sensitivity in the game? RE: Joystick sensitivity - JeffyB - 07-16-2019 (07-16-2019, 11:44 AM)Billiard26 Wrote: Which game? Can you adjust the sensitivity in the game? Twilight princess. I don't think there is a way to adjust sensitivity in that game, but I really think everything I play has the sensitivity issue. As I said, I even notice the problem in the "Test" tab of the controller's properties in Control Panel. The "+" cursor seems to move too abruptly. RE: Joystick sensitivity - Billiard26 - 07-17-2019 Okay. So it's just your controller I guess? RE: Joystick sensitivity - JeffyB - 07-18-2019 (07-17-2019, 08:07 PM)Billiard26 Wrote: Okay. So it's just your controller I guess? You would think so, but I've had the exact same issue with a different controller: a PS2 controller with USB adapter. And since using that controller, I've even changed computer and operating system (Windows Vista to Windows 10). Default should be 100. Try Mainstick 70 and C-Stick 60. For some reason I can´t save these settings tho. Can anyone tell me why? |
