Cursed Mountain WII has now very similar problems to NSMB (earlier) - schez - 12-12-2009

I can now get into the game menu but only with enabling LLE but framerates are just very poor on LLE. With HLE i will just run into a "dead loop" which wont allow me getting in the main menu at all (very similiar to the problem earlier on New super mario bros, after selecting 1 player it just didnt continue, but it worked with LLE). I tried to create a savestate under LLE which worked on HLE at high fps, but resulting in wiimote disconnection immediately or after a few seconds, which renders the savestate useless. Besides the intro graphic looks somehow messed up but ingame graphics looks good.
So the problem (not the graphic problem tho) looks to me very very similar to the new super mario bros problem earlier which got fixed very fast, hope it gets fixed here as well.

I tried the 4680x64 plus some older revisions.

EDIT:
No intro problems under OpenGL, but under D3d s. screenshot below.

I have the same problem; I tried using LLE and you can play it but when "Find Edward Bennet's House" mission starts (after about 5 minutes of playing) Dolphin crashes.
I really hope they can solve the problem since this game looks stunning to me... Sad

In addition, it's just awfully slow on LLE, i just got like 10-20% speed;
On HLE(with help of LLE savestates) it runs in fullspeed (OpenGL and D3D) till the wiimote disconnects comes into play.. and your screwed. So I just hope the HLE dead loop issue gets solved cuz the game would run in fullspeed and using savestates you just get instant wiimote desyncs rendering them useless.

"dolphin-emu: LM1234 * r5284 /trunk/Source/Plugins/Plugin_DSP_HLE/Src/UCodes/UCode_AXWii.cpp: DSPHLE - the same thing for AXWII - fixes De Blob, Cursed Mountain, ..."
Game is now working under HLE - no savestate hack need anymore. However it needs a strong cpu, it runs at 20-25 fps for me (50fps = 100%)

Ooh awesome Blush

Edit: Cursed Mountain sadly still crashes after the intro.
Edit2: But not if you are using JTIL

How do you guys get even to title screen, I tried all settings.

I did nothing except use rawdump and convert the raw image to iso, but it just wont go past that bronze frog logo. Starting to think something went wrong during ripping, disk plays just fine in wii.

JITL experimental recompiler works too but still wont go to title.

edit-- nevermind, you just need a newer revision.

RE: Cursed Mountain WII has now very similar problems to NSMB (earlier) - schez - 04-07-2010

Yes, u can go ingame, but unfortunately i noticed that it is still crashing further ingame (always at the same spot), i attached my debugger to check where it jumps out:
Unhandled exception at 0x0071816d in Dolphin.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation on write attempt at position 0x0000000000f60000.
Without the debugger attached, dolphin will just close instantenously without an error message.

nvm, no crash under JITIL Recompiler^^ now you can pass this spot:
[Image: rq6xkm-8j644.jpg] (usually it crashes immediately here, so you wont be able to get to screenshot 2)

my settings:
DC,idle skpping, hle the ipl, jitil recompiler, lock threads to cores, dsplle on thread.
progressive scan, EuRGB60 (PAL60).
enable cpu->efb access, render to main, 1280x720, auto aspect ratio, 16x anistropy, efb scaled copy, Enable EFB Copy To Texture.
Enable DSPHLE, dtk music, audio throttle.

It needs mmu to run without crashes, enable acurate texture cache fast, disable anisotropic filtering and use direct 3d 11 plugin for no glitches. It will run just fine but slow. Using the latest rev btw Wink.
