Hello, the title says it all, although this is not a game breaking bug or a major problem, it is an annoyance to me and I was wondering if anyone knows a way to disable the flashing x button on the hud.

Easiest way is to make a transparent version of the texture used for the flashing X button to hide is.
Texture Dump should be: tex1_34x44_c9717b966554213f_2, which is a 34x44 texture format.
I don't really know in which instances that texture is used more than for that X button.
Try replacing it with the texture I added with this post.
