Wii remote overheat? - Furabixa - 07-05-2019 Hello friends, I wonder if I did something wrong. Today my Dolphin Bar arrived at the post office and I took that old wii control from the closet to play on the PC. I played for 10 minutes with everything running perfectly. Synchronization took place both with the bar and with the pc and I was happy. An instant later the control desynchronizes and I can not make it turn on again nor turn on any blue light. The batteries were bought today. I traded for the second pair and nothing. I noticed that the control was very hot, and when I removed the batteries they were also very hot. I waited 30 minutes and put the batteries back but the control continues giving no sign of life. My question is, did I do something wrong or was it just a misfortune to have a control burned out of nowhere. Synchronizing the control on the PC can burn the controls. I really do not know what happened, everything was going well. I only had this control and now I need to buy another, but I'm afraid to burn it too. My specs: i5 4690 3.9GH MSI GTX 970 16 GB RAM RE: Wii remote overheat? - Helios - 07-05-2019 Was it an official nintendo remote or third party? Official. =( RE: Wii remote overheat? - Helios - 07-05-2019 Weird! My guess was that you had a short somewhere and poorly built 3rd party wiimotes are prone to breaking. If you try another, I would try different batteries as well just in case. I promise you Dolphin nor the Dolphinbar broke anything. |
