Copying save files between 2 versions of the same game - GuyM81 - 07-01-2019 So I have two versions of Xenoblade Chronicles, and I want to know if it is possible to transfer my save from 1 of my files, to the other. If so how do you do it? RE: Copying save files between 2 versions of the same game - JosJuice - 07-01-2019 If two versions of a game have different game IDs, there is no simple way to carry over save data in the general case. RE: Copying save files between 2 versions of the same game - Leseratte10 - 07-01-2019 If it's just the gameID you could just rename the folder in /title/ to match the other game ID. Or you can use Wiimms ISO tools (wit edit game.iso --tt-id=XXXX) to set the savegame ID for that game to XXXX (of course you'd need to replace that with the savegame ID of the other game). |
