Wii remote will not pair - Whacka - 06-21-2019
Despite watching videos and reading articles, I cannot get my Wii Remote to pair with dolphin. Windows sees it and i can pair and connect with the wii remote. It sits there connected for only about 10 seconds before disappearing again. (has done this with all controllers I have tried, and yes the bluetooth adapter works) Pressing the Refresh button in the emulator results in the wii remote appearing again in the bluetooth list but it disappears again after the wii remote does not connect to anything. I've tried pressing 1 + 2 after and before pressing refresh, tried both old and new wii remotes, and tried the alternative driver where you can press the sync button in the controller settings. Nothings happens, please help I want to play wii bowling again =)

What is your wiimote and windows version?

Is there 2 Rs in the wiimote? Have you ever installed any other bluetooth drivers?

just one, that was a typo. I tried the one where you can use the sync button in the controller settings dialog. The wii remote lights just blink for about 15 seconds then nothings happens. The remotes show up in the windows bluetooth settings and even say 'paired' and 'connected' they just don't pair in dolphin. The remotes have been tested in wii and they do work. I have tried old ones and new controllers with the wii motion plus built into the controller, none of them worked.

There seems to be some issue with the latest update. I'm using 5.0 10553 and my wiimote which works perfectly in Cemu, won't work anymore with Dolphin, no matter what I do.
