Keyboard detected by Dolphin isn't right - Kinghippy666 - 06-14-2019
I'm trying to run Twilight Princess on Dolphin, but it won't detect the right keyboard, so how do I add it? I have browsed around and can't see how do fix it. So ccould somebody help?
Details: Mac OS high Sierra, Dolphin v 5.0, NON bluetooth keyboard (built into the computer)

"Quartz/0/Keyboard & Mouse" should work... Does nothing happen when you try to map the buttons to keys on your keyboard?

Nope, I boot up TP and I can't enter any keys.

Okay, so it doesn't work when you're in the game, but does it work in the window where you map the buttons?

Yes it does. But when I try and get past the Press Start, it won't take it.

I had the same issue the other day and reported it. This is exactly what my problem is - only affects my desktop though. My laptop is fine. It affects shortcuts too. The keyboard still doesn't work after you close the game - i have to restart dolphin for the keyboard to work in menu before i open a game. Controllers work fine too

If it says "PRESS START" and not "START A + B", you are playing the GameCube version of the game, which is not compatible with Wii Remotes. You need to configure an emulated GameCube controller instead.

Also, if you're on 5.0 stable, consider upgrading to the latest dev build, it'll make your experience much better. Also, right-click on Twilight princess in Dolphin's game browser list, go to Properties and don't forget to enable the Hyrule Speed Hack
