If you had $700 for a free pc, what would you get?
Also, is linux dolphin any good? Does OS affect dolphin regardless of build?
Btw, I used to run dolphin back in the days of windows vista. I got 33% on Ikaruga. It was still TOO hard, lol.

Windows and Linux are both pretty good for Dolphin. The OS can affect Dolphin, but you only really need to watch out for macOS and Android.

$700 will go a lot less far on a laptop than a desktop, especially if you were building the desktop yourself.
