Controllers do not work during the game - Mad__Max_1976 - 05-29-2019
Hi everyone. I know it's an old argument and that there are several discussions on the subject, but I still can't solve it.
The joypad are detected by Dolphin and I can configure them in the controller config, but as soon as I enter any emulation, the game does not respond to the controller at all. I need to run the controller configuration while playing the game, only in these way I can use the controller on the games.
I use a PC with the latest version of Ubuntu and Dolphin, I have Chinese-like PS3 controllers.
Has anyone solved it? Having to configure all the controllers every time I play a game is unnerving!

This shouldn't happen. After booting a game is the problem resolved by simply opening the controller configuration?

Thanks for the reply.
After starting the game I have to launch the configuration program, select the controller and associate at least one button or a lever. if I play with multiple controllers I have to repeat the operation for each one.
if I don't do one of these steps the controllers don't work.
