What game folder formats does Dolphin support? - Videogamer555 - 05-17-2019 I know it supports games played from ISOs and DOL files and ELF files, etc. What I don't know is this. Does it also support playing games from folders that hold the contents extracted from ISOs? There are 2 ISO-content dump formats. These are known as DiskEx and GCReEx, and are produced from a tool called Gamecube ISO Tool. Does Dolphin support playing from either of these formats? If it does, that would simplify testing mods. It would mean that after editing the files, I wouldn't need to pack them back into an ISO, and significantly reduce mod-production time. If it does support at least one of these formats, which one of them (or both) does it support? RE: What game folder formats does Dolphin support? - JosJuice - 05-17-2019 Dolphin supports extracted discs, but not in either of those formats. The format that is supported can be extracted using Dolphin or using wit. |
