no scanner in metroid prime from trilogy - mancuser - 05-10-2019

the scanner no longer shows up and therefore can't be selected when using the - button on the wiimote when plaing the wii version. i am using bluetooth passthrough. my new setup is an i9-9900k and an RTX2080ti with 32gb of ram. i have tried a fresh install of dolphin and all of the available backends and can not choose the scanner. i am running the latest dolphin at 4k with 8xmsaa. This problem only seems to exist on the wii version as the gamecube version works perfectly. Any ideas?

Make sure EFB Copies to Texture Only is off.

RE: no scanner in metroid prime from trilogy - mancuser - 05-10-2019

my ini is as follows:

# R3ME01, R3MP01 - Metroid Prime Trilogy

[Core]
# Values set here will override the main Dolphin settings.

[OnLoad]
# Add memory patches to be loaded once on boot here.

[OnFrame]
# Add memory patches to be applied every frame here.

[ActionReplay]
# Add action replay cheats here.

[Video_Hacks]
EFBToTextureEnable = False
ImmediateXFBEnable = False
XFBToTextureEnable = False
DeferEFBCopies = False

is this not correct?

edit...

p.s. running latest dev build....

Turn off MSAA and other weird enhancements that can affect EFB data.

Don't necessarily rely only on your default ini. Double check when the game is running that the options are as they should be, as your custom settings ini will override your default settings ini, and what you posted appears to be the default settings file.
