GC adapter detected but no inputs working - The_Veltman - 05-03-2019
I have a third party Gamecube controller adapter (MIMD) for Wii U/Switch (my adapter works on my switch, I can play normally with the same controller on it)
I am using Dolphin 5.0 and also tried the latest beta version to no avail. Dolphin recognizes my adapter after the driver swap on Zadig but after I start any GC games the buttons don't work at all. What could be the problem?

Simple questions first is the the controller enable in the controller input page, Second have you try different ports namely the first and last one to make sure the controller is in the first spot. Now that all the simple question done and if that not the problem what the adapter as someone my have addition input on that adapter.

I tried plugging the controller on all the ports to no avail. I don't understand the second thing you said. Do you mean the problem might be the adapter or controller? As I said, on my switch it works great.

There are certain third party adapters that don't work in Dolphin due to a change in the protocol. Maybe we need to add some kind of button test to this to see.
