New2in1 Wiimote disconnects after random time - Brian Fordhamm - 04-05-2019

Okay guys, so my problem is nothing new but it's still annoying.
So I use a Chinese "New2in1" Wiimote with my laptop which is my main PC. Intel's Bluetooth (Wireless-N 2230) is not good so I bought CSR8510A10 USB dongle, but not directly from CSR, it's branded as "Trust", PC accessories trademark. Windows 10 pairs with it only with "Add a device" dialog window, "Add Bluetooth device" requires a PIN and not letting the pairing occur otherwise.
Dolphin picks up the Wiimote, but after a random time of playing (may be a minute, may be 5 or 10) the connecton just vanishes.
It looks like it's the OS because Wiimote appears to be thinking it's still connected (first light keeps glowing solid blue). The character movement in games continues as well and Dolphin does not report any disconnects.
I've tried another stacks. Toshiba Bluetooth had the same problem and eventually stopped detecting the dongle. CSR Harmony stack required a PIN to connect.
Dolphin's passtrough works like a charm but I cannot keep it for long.
So who is really to blame and what can be done?

The best thing you can do is try bluetooth passthrough, if that doesn't work you're out of luck and will need to get an official wiimote and/or a compatible bluetooth adapter.
