Triggers issue with wireless XBOX-One controllers - Dime333 - 03-31-2019

I hope I can explain this so you guys can understand what I mean.

I'm having a strange issue with both of my XBOX-one controllers. When I go to controller config and test my triggers, they go all the way up just by pressing them a little bit. If I press them a little further, They start over again from zero and go all the way up again. If I slowly press a trigger, the bar fills up and starts over four times before beeing fully pressed. This makes gameplay very hard to handle. I Think I have the latest available drivers (dated 2018-04-10). This issue does not happen when I test the controllers in game controller settings in windows 10.

Please post a screenshot of the controller config.

Sounds weird. I can't think of what would causes this. It's like the trigger range is 4 times that of what our code thinks but that's just not possible from looking at our code and the XInput documentation.

Yeah. I have no idea what to try.

Does the device work properly in any other games/programs? (Ideally one that is known to use XInput) (the Windows game controller settings window doesn't use XInput the last time I looked at it)

I figured it out. I'm using an older version of the "xinputhid.sys" file. The reason I'm doing this is that without it, I can't use my gamepad to exit games with rocketlauncher which is a game launcher for frontends. I guess there's nothing I can do about it.
