Y button acts as if it were the B button - Pacal_II - 03-28-2019 I'm using the newest version of dolphin "5.0-9494" but I seem to have a problem with the controller. I'm emulating the classic controller and while when detecting buttons it does seem to register "Y" and "B" as different buttons, in game it treats them both as "B", they will do the same thing. I tried to assign the "Y" to something different but that doesn't do anything. Still the same problem. I'm using a logitech F310 gamepad. The game is Xenoblade Chronicles. RE: Y button acts as if it were the B button - DJBarry004 - 03-28-2019 The newest is 5.0-9820. RE: Y button acts as if it were the B button - Billiard26 - 03-30-2019 How about the "General and Options" tab? Maybe you've mapped Y to something else there? What exactly is happening in the game that makes you think pressing Y is performing the action of pressing B? Agreed: the settings for the Wiimote itself probably are also set up on the same buttons and they interfere with eachother. Pacal_II Wrote:Here you go: [screenshot] As you're using xinput I take it you have real analog triggers which you aren't using properly with these settings: Set your ZL/ZR to your actual shoulder buttons "L1" / "R1" (or Shoulder L/Shoulder R) And set both triggers L/R and L analog/R analog to your analog triggers "L2"/"R2" (or Trigger L/Trigger R) that way you actually have them set up like a real Classic controller because as soon as you hit a specific point in the trigger it will register as the "click/fully pressed digital" button. You can also use these exact settings in the Gamecube controller settings to achieve the same. This will not affect the issue you're facing (clearing all the buttons from the Wiimote/General tab will for XC) but for example racing games might make use of it to have a real "throttle" like feel. |
