Emulator crashing - pkarlos07 - 11-23-2018 Hi- I'm new to Dolphin, yesterday I downloaded dolphin 5.0 and successfully ran SSBM on it. Today it wouldn't work, it would show a bunch of yellow text and gave me a warning and just stopped working. So I uninstalled it and downloaded dolphin 5.0-9155 and there was a similar issue, it would give me yellow text about my video card and crash immediately after the words disappeared, I would like to play SSBM. Help! RE: Emulator crashing - ExtremeDude2 - 11-23-2018 Have you tried updating your graphics drivers or switching the graphics backend to directX? RE: Emulator crashing - pkarlos07 - 11-23-2018 Can I update my graphic drivers for free? RE: Emulator crashing - JosJuice - 11-23-2018 (11-23-2018, 03:19 AM)pkarlos07 Wrote: Where? At the manufacturer's website. Since you haven't listed your GPU in your profile, I don't know which manufacturer that would be. RE: Emulator crashing - pkarlos07 - 11-23-2018 They're up to date but my Dolphin hasn't fixed itself in the slightest. RE: Emulator crashing - JMC47 - 11-23-2018 The black screen usually means the graphics backend can't be initialized. Can you try enabling logging and seeing if anything obvious is wrong. RE: Emulator crashing - pkarlos07 - 11-23-2018 I toggled everything for logging and this was the text that appeared: 47:22:669 core\configmanager.cpp:720 N[CORE]: Active title: Super Smash Bros.
