Super Mario Sunshine lag. - Cyloo - 10-31-2018

Hi! So I recently wanted to play one of my childhood games, being Super Mario Sunshine. The intro screen is a bit laggy, so is the actual game save menu. The cut scenes are fine, but when I spawn into Delfino plaza, I drop to 26-14fps. Any help would be appreciated!

Okay, I'm pretty confused.

SMS is a 30 fps game. Running at 60 means you're going at double speed (Or using that 60 fps hack for SMS).

What is the VPS you're at when you're claiming it lags

Wow, sorry I meant 26-14, I'm at 53-81% when it's lagging.

Sounds like your PC just isn't good enough. Maybe try 1x resolution if you aren't already? SMS lagged in the same way on my old graphics card, & I haven't really tested it on my new one.

It shouldn't lag on that hardware.

But yes, does it lag at 1x?

Alternatively, does it lag if you delete Documents/Dolphin Emulator/config and reset all settings back to default?

That fixed it! I don't know what I messed with for it to lag, but resetting my settings worked, thanks for your help/patience.
