What is the read/write speed/frequency of GameCube Memory Cards? - JakoNintenCraft - 10-28-2018

I don't know if this place would be the best to ask this question, but I just had the craziest idea of using high-capacity GCN memory cards as external RAM (or at the very least supplementary page files) for Wii homebrew applications. My only problem is that such an idea rests on the assumption that the bus speed for those devices is fast, which I have my doubts on but can't confirm either way.

Also if there is any in-depth documentation on the Wii hardware (specifically so that I don't have to come back here every time I need to find a statistic like bus speeds or graphics capabilities) that would be well appreciated.

I found this spreadsheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1W2BfG27hU7kKPvPIhiHNREb6z7GT2d2zZeKK53ph6lE/edit#gid=0

As far as I can tell you will probably want to use the sd card if you really need a pagefile.
