Widescreen hack question - Ethanwinters88 - 10-27-2018 I was wondering as we also have bigger screen then a 16.9 like for example the new galaxy series..and many other new smartphone starting from the 2017.anyway ..do u know when u choose the aspect ratio? On stretch to screen makes the view much better as fill the whole screen..but obviously the widescreen hack not workin for this little extension..there will be any possible build one day with a fix for it? Wich ,at the end of the day isnt even a bug of course..but an "optimization for this feature? Thanks RE: Widescreen hack question - JosJuice - 10-27-2018 A fix for what exactly? If you mean the problem that objects disappear from view as they get closer to the edges of the screen, that can only be fixed using game-specific patches. RE: Widescreen hack question - Ethanwinters88 - 10-27-2018 No no ..I mean..stretching the screen completely..it doeasnt change the widescreen aspect making the characters quite wide then the widescreen aspect .if u know what I' mean RE: Widescreen hack question - JosJuice - 10-27-2018 Huh, you're right, that doesn't seem to work on Android... I wonder why. It works fine on PC. RE: Widescreen hack question - Ethanwinters88 - 10-27-2018 I could see the difference of the characters model for example in resident wvil series ...project zero ..definitely.. the reason because of this is just cos with this new screens series the stretch screen make it look so beautiful and enjoyable in game..that's why RE: Widescreen hack question - JosJuice - 10-27-2018 Turns out that the widescreen hack actually has been working on Android all along except for the problem that the settings GUI writes the wrong value to GFX.ini. Move wideScreenHack = True from [Enhancements] to [Settings] to fix it for now. A proper fix for the settings GUI should be available soon. RE: Widescreen hack question - Ethanwinters88 - 10-27-2018 Amazing thank u for the tip.im gonna try
