Vulkan - Is Dolphin the problem? - ganon - 10-14-2018 So I updated my Mi8 to Android 9 Pie and Vulkan now only shows black screen as before. I'm beginning to think are there some things broken in Dolphin because the Citra emulator still works with Vulkan RE: Vulkan - Is Dolphin the problem? - JosJuice - 10-14-2018 Are you sure the current Android version of Citra supports Vulkan? Assuming you're using the unofficial one that started floating around earlier this month, the graphics backend option in its GUI is non-functional. RE: Vulkan - Is Dolphin the problem? - sKorpioN1 - 10-14-2018 I think It have to be something with the drivers or with dolphin because i have one plus 6 and before the update to android p vulkan was working really good but after updating to android p i just get a black screen with sound on the background. PPSSPP with vulkan api is working btw RE: Vulkan - Is Dolphin the problem? - Locoviejo - 10-14-2018 (10-14-2018, 06:58 AM)ganon Wrote: So I updated my Mi8 to Android 9 Pie and Vulkan now only shows black screen as before. It most certainly works as I noticed the slight speed increase with Vulkan. @Locoviejo https://youtu.be/jgJf82c0R40 RE: Vulkan - Is Dolphin the problem? - Nintonito - 10-14-2018 (10-14-2018, 07:11 AM)sKorpioN1 Wrote: I think It have to be something with the drivers or with dolphin because i have one plus 6 and before the update to android p vulkan was working really good but after updating to android p i just get a black screen with sound on the background. Sooooooo you updated the software on the phone, and dolphin’s Vulkan backend stopped working. That sounds like your phone software is causing the problem. Dolphin hasn’t received an update that broke Vulkan for everybody, it’s qualcomm’s Fault the most recent drivers from them are completely borked. Downgrade your device or complain to OnePlus and Qualcomm. Nobody’s device on 9.0 works with Vulkan right now, and it’s not because of dolphin.
