• Will games automatically save my progress when I exit or do I have to manually save the state every time?
• I've found that whenever I add any Gecko code to any game, said game is completely unable to start (it just perpetually shows a white screen). Is this a common issue and is it solvable?
• It always takes many minutes of repeated trial and error to successfully pair a Wiimote to Dolphin. The four blue lights on the remote just repeatedly flash and eventually time out. I've tried hitting the refresh button over and over; I've tried having "continuous scan" on and having it off. There seems to be no particular pattern which gets it to pair successfully. The banner for Wii games shows up when you make in ingame save, as it is actually stored in that.

Speaking of - never, ever rely on emulator savestates for long term saving. They can break on emulator version changes, hardware version changes, or the game may just not like it. Just save within the game normally, through the games own menu. This is far more reliable.
