change wii LANGUAGE games / ANDROID version - berserk59 - 10-06-2018 Hello Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, I have a question about the android version of Dolphin : I can not change the language of my wii games (for the gamecube games, no problems) --> How can I change languages of my wii games ? Thanks
RE: change wii LANGUAGE games / ANDROID version - JosJuice - 10-06-2018 It's rather annoying right now. I think the easiest way to do it would be to change it using the PC version of Dolphin and then copying the SYSCONF file to your Android device. RE: change wii LANGUAGE games / ANDROID version - berserk59 - 10-06-2018 Ah yes thanks! so both files are compatible? RE: change wii LANGUAGE games / ANDROID version - JosJuice - 10-06-2018 Yes, the SYSCONF file is compatible between Android and other operating systems. RE: change wii LANGUAGE games / ANDROID version - berserk59 - 10-06-2018 Hi, I have tested it: I have taken my file "SYSCONF" from my pc version of dolphin (french language) and I have put it into "dolphin-emu\Wii\shared2\sys" (where is located the "SYSCONF" file in the android version) and ...... no result : my language is always english in my wii games! I think your method don't work. RE: change wii LANGUAGE games / ANDROID version - JosJuice - 10-06-2018 Did you make sure to set the language to French in the Wii tab of the settings? There are also language settings in the Interface and GameCube tabs, but those settings don't affect Wii games. RE: change wii LANGUAGE games / ANDROID version - berserk59 - 10-06-2018 You talk about the "wii tab of the setting" of my PC version? Yes I have do it, but always english But I have "find" an another solution in the forum, very easy: For Wii games: JUST add ONE line in the end of your [Wii Code Game].ini, for example, for New Super Mario Bros Wii, his code is "SMNP01" (find it in the wiki of dolphin simply! or more quickly into "game settings" when you maintain button in the concerned game)so the file to modify is "SMNP01.ini", and go to the folder "0/dolphin-emu/GameSettings" and modify the [Wii Code Game].ini file. As a conclusion: just two lines to add in the END of your [Wii Game].ini (don't work, in the beginning grrrrrr), this: [Wii] Language = 3 Don't forget the first line"[Wii]" and bee careful to respect "W.i.i." not "w.i.i" ! Language = (Choose a number and put it here for the language you want from the list below)0 (Japanese) 1 (English) 2 (German) 3 (French) 4 (Spanish) 5 (Italian) 6 (Dutch) 7 (Simplified Chinese) 8 (Traditional Chinese) 9 (Korean) Also, if the [Wii Code Game].ini is not here (in GameSettings folder), don't panik, you must just change any settings (of the CONCERNED game) and save (for example "internal resolution") and the file will appear and you will can modify itA lot of forums(and people too!) don't know that, I think you must post the solution into "important thread !!! Thanks
