Tingle Tuner in 5.0-87xx - trashcanhands - 10-04-2018
I'm currently using Dolphin 5.0-8743 because when I update I can't use my save states anymore so I just don't update it, but this version is only 2 weeks old so I'm assuming not too much has changed?
Anyway, I've tried 2 or 3 versions of VBA-M and I see the Gameboy logo appear but I never see the Nintendo logo appear as I've read it should in other older threads.
Has anyone had any success getting Tingle Tuner to work on the new versions of Dolphin with a particular version of VBA-M? I guess I don't exactly need it, but it's a feature of the game
so I'd like to be able to use it if at all possible.
Thank you for any guidance here.

The GBA <-> GCN connection is hit or miss really. Some work was done to improve it a few years ago, and even some other emulators tried supporting it. Unfortunately, VBA-M and any other GBA emulator would probably have to overhaul the way JOYBUS communication is emulated to get stable gameplay.
