Problems Using Keyboard - wexs883198215 - 04-10-2009
Hi, I just downloaded Dolphin recently, and I have not been able to much with it since the buttons on my keyboard do anything for some reason.
Basically, under plugins, I have a choice between nJoy and the Dolphin Event Pad. nJoy is for the joystick, so I assume the Event pad is for the keybaord. When I choose it and configure it and start the game, I cannot control anything. I can't even get past the main menu.
Does someone know a way to solve this problem?
Some people have told me that I should use the kb/360 controller but I don't see where that is.

You apparently are missing the Xbx360/keyboard plugin... I would suggest download/compile a new build.

Most likely your DirectX is out of date. Update your DirectX package (use the 9.0c updater from the Microsoft site) and it should make your lost plugin show up.

Um....is this 360/keyboard plugin like a separate file?
I downloaded a new version and the same thing still happens. I don't see any difference in the "plugins" folder either
I did update my directx, so i don't think that's the issue
