Dolphin 5.0- Can't add AR cheats - SteinerLiner - 09-26-2018
I have seen many Youtube video tutorials that talk about adding AR or Gecko cheats, but they either have old versions, or the info is so vague that the tutorial is practically useless and I am stuck at square one.
I have been trying to learn how to add AR Codes for a while and there are no new videos or useful guides on this subject. I have 5.0 build 8716 by the way and trying to figure out how to get them to work has been a chore.
So I might as well ask here because I still have no clue about how this works and I don't exactly wanna spam on this topic either.
I an even willing to go through a step by step process to show results, if it does/doesn't work.
From my experience I have tried Enable Cheat Codes, but the option for cheat manager is greyed out unless I boot up a game. When I access the cheat manager, I see no section for AR or Gecko codes

Instead of using the Cheat Manager, right-click on a game in the game list and open the game properties. You'll find AR and Gecko tabs there.

I tried your advice but I am not seeing the AR Tab. I use Windows 10 and this is all I see.
Do I actually have to download AR for Dolphin or is that not neccesary

You have to right-click on the game in Dolphin's game list, not in Windows Explorer.

Had to look up a video on Youtube of how to install games, and I see what you mean now.
