Please help. Super Mario bros wii does not start at all. - JoeAsamoah - 09-14-2018 I have tried any settings. It was in wbfs format tho. The emulator couldn't recognize it so i changed the extension to gcz;which the emulator detected it successfully. But it won't start the game after the wii remote tutorial. Emulator version is 5.0-8715 RE: Please help. Super Mario bros wii does not start at all. - Shonumi - 09-14-2018 Dolphin doesn't care about the extension (and .gcz is for GC games anyway). When you say it gets stuck after the tutorial, does it freeze or does everything still run but no inputs work? If it's the second case, you need to configure the emulated Wiimote. RE: Please help. It's for Wii games too, but yes, Dolphin doesn't care about the extension (unless you're using multipart WBFS). RE: Please help. Kinda misleading though, keeping the name of the format the same for both systems like that. Oh well. RE: Please help. It does work, but if you change .wbfs to .gcz, you also have to change .wbf1 to .gc1 and so on. I wouldn't recommend it, since there's no advantage to changing extensions like that. |
