Need for speed underground 2 - Treeko - 09-10-2018 What settings do you guys recommend for this title, I am using a oneplus 6 the game runs perfectly on menus and cutscenes, audio is fine too, until you get into the gameplay, loads of frame drops and audio issue's, any help would be appreciated to improve performance. I've been a lurker on this forum for a while, so I've seen people say stuff like older builds might have better compatibility with certain titles, if this is true then what build do you guys recommend? RE: Need for speed underground 2 - JosJuice - 09-10-2018 You can try reducing the emulated CPU clock a bit. There isn't really much you can do other than that (assuming you haven't changed the graphics enhancements and hacks to something other than the defaults). The older builds do not have better compatibility at all. If you're using the default settings, they do have better performance in some games, but that's in exchange for breaking the gameplay in major ways. You can achieve the same thing in newer builds if you want to, it's just a matter of settings. And this isn't one of those games anyway. RE: Need for speed underground 2 - Guilherme - 09-11-2018 The game itself run with a variable framerate on real GC, arround 35-50 FPS (the game is 60 FPS capped). When I overclock the emulated CPU to 150% (I run Dolphin on PC) it results in 50-60 FPS, this game pushes hard the GC CPU. If you reduce the emulated clock too much you'll get a very very unstable framerate (which is bad for racing games). With less than 80% of emulated clock you'll have many sudden drops below 30 FPS, but I don't know if Snapdragon 845 can handle well this clock, the youtubers only try 60% or lower. |
